A BIG THANK YOU!
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everybody, worldwide, who has recommended our business over the past year. I have been in business for many years now and, like most of you in the events industry, have never experienced anything like this past year. But due to the kindness and the time that certain colleagues have shown us - and I’m not going to name them for fear of missing someone out, you know who you are - we have received an all-time record number of enquiries this month and that covers the last 20 years of business. We are very pleased to have also been asked to project-manage a large contract for next year.
THE EVENTS INDUSTRY
I have operated businesses in a few spheres, but I have to say, the events industry is the most selfless, warm, fun and welcoming environment I have ever had the pleasure to work in. I have always been made to feel welcome. As a new venture, people asked with genuine sincerity how we were doing and how they could help, which hasn’t stopped and still continues after 20 years.
FRIENDS
Most of you started out as colleagues, but now, I can honestly say that I consider you all real friends and be assured if I ever get the opportunity to recommend your services or you as a person, I will without hesitation. I will never forget any of you and how you have helped us, and to me, that’s what business should be all about. One of the first things that was said to me in this industry was, “there is enough work out there for all of us, so let’s be generous”. Wise words. Thank you all, I am very grateful!
